K12 Techno Services is seeking a Lead Procurement specialist to drive procurement for school construction and fit-outs across multiple sites in India. You will ensure timely, on-spec delivery of civil, MEP, finishes and furniture.

The role requires deep knowledge of material specs, vendor networks, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and strong negotiation skills to optimize costs while maintaining compliance and audit readiness.

Competenze

• BE/BTech in Civil/Mechanical or commerce/supply chain with MBA preferred.

• Plan and run procurement for civil materials, MEP items, finishes, doors, windows and roofing.
• Procure school fit-out: classroom furniture, lab equipment, play equipment, signage and fixtures.
• Build and maintain a pan-India vendor base; evaluate, empanel and rate vendors on quality, price and delivery.
• Float RFQs and tenders, prepare comparative statements and negotiate rates, payment terms and rate contracts.
• Issue purchase and work orders; track deliveries to multiple sites against project schedules.
• Control procurement costs against project budgets and BOQs; flag variances early.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, site engineers, accounts and stores on requirements, GRNs and payments.
• Ensure documentation, GST compliance and audit-ready procurement records.
• Use ERP/procurement systems for indents, POs and MIS reporting.

Role Summary

Lead procurement for all school construction and fit-out projects across cities, so every site gets the right materials and services on time, on spec and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and run procurement for civil materials (cement, steel, blocks, aggregates), MEP items, finishes, doors, windows and roofing
• Procure school fit-out: classroom furniture, lab equipment, play equipment, signage and fixtures
• Build and maintain a pan-India vendor base; evaluate, empanel and rate vendors on quality, price and delivery
• Float RFQs and tenders, prepare comparative statements and negotiate rates, payment terms and rate contracts
• Issue purchase and work orders; track deliveries to multiple sites against project schedules
• Control procurement costs against project budgets and BOQs; flag variances early

Qualifications and Experience

• B.E./B.Tech (Civil/Mechanical), or a degree in Commerce or Supply Chain; MBA in Materials/Supply Chain preferred
• 10+ years in construction procurement, preferably for multi-site building projects
• Strong knowledge of construction material specifications, market rates and vendor networks across South and West India
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) and advanced MS Excel
