Job summary

Della Group in Mumbai, Maharashtra is seeking a seasoned Head of Procurement to develop and oversee sourcing strategies for a wide range of luxury interior products and related materials. You will lead supplier negotiations, ensure timely delivery, and drive cost optimization while aligning with design, production, and logistics teams.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business Admin, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in procurement or supply chain role, preferably luxury interior.
• Proven track record of managing and negotiating with suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of SCM, inventory control, and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies in line with company objectives.
• Oversee the procurement of a wide range of materials and products, including indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, sanitaryware, faucets, vanities, tiles, flooring, wall cladding, kitchens, doors, mirrors, decor, tableware, furnishing, and nursery items.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices, and terms to ensure cost‑effectiveness and quality standards.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand, ensuring timely and efficient inventory management to support production schedules.
• Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and ensure they meet Della's quality standards and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the design, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of materials and products.
• Implement and manage a supplier performance evaluation system to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to agreed‑upon standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work culture.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends to senior management.
