Qualifications

• Experience in Agrochemical, Chemical, Pharma industries.
• Experience as a purchasing officer or in a similar position.
• Experience with ERP systems (Navision) preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of Raw Materials and Packing Materials.
• Manage daily purchasing activities and supervise staff.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, timelines with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier database and purchase records.
• Coordinate with inventory control to determine needs.
• Review and process purchase orders.
• Evaluate vendors on quality, timeliness, price.
• Schedule deliveries and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Research and evaluate vendors for pricing and services.
• Monitor inventory needs with fellow managers.
• Ensure quality of procured items and address issues.
• Review pending and new indents and execute on priority.

Role & responsibilities

• Procurement of Raw Materials, Packing Materials, etc.
• Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
• Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
• Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
• Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
• Reviews and processes purchase orders.
• Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price.
• Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.
• Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
• Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
• Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.
• Review the pending and new indents and execute all of them on priority basis.
• Floating inquiries.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant Experience in Agrochemical, Chemical, Pharma industries.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP. (preferred)
