Interior Company, part of Square Yards, seeks a proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement for interior design projects. You will handle supplier sourcing, quotation requests, and PO processing, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.

The role requires experience in interior material sourcing, vendor coordination, and cost optimization. In-person role in Maharashtra with a monthly pay range of ₹30,000–₹40,000.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement for interior materials.
• 1 year preferred in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Strong negotiation and cost-saving focus.

Responsibilities

• Procure interior materials end-to-end for projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with design, execution, warehouse, and project teams.
• Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock shortages.
• Verify invoices and coordinate with finance for payments.
• Ensure procurement complies with budgets and policies.
• Maintain procurement MIS reports and documentation.
• Conduct market research for cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement of materials, vendor coordination, and purchase operations for interior design projects. The ideal candidate should have experience sourcing materials used in residential or commercial interiors while ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of interior materials, including plywood, MDF/HDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, modular kitchen accessories, electrical items, plumbing materials, glass, paint, tiles, false ceiling materials, lighting fixtures, soft furnishings, and decorative accessories.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with design, execution, warehouse, and project teams for procurement requirements.
• Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve supply-related issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock shortages.
• Verify invoices and coordinate with the finance team for vendor payments.
• Ensure procurement complies with company policies and budgets.
• Maintain procurement MIS reports and documentation.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and project specifications.
