Job summary

Topgear Consultants in Mumbai invites an experienced Procurement Executive/Engineer to manage end-to-end material sourcing for interior projects. You will analyze BOQs, engage vendors, send RFQs, compare quotes, negotiate terms, and issue POs after approvals.

Close coordination with the Project Manager and site team is essential to meet timelines and quality specs. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech/BE or Diploma, with a strong background in interior contracting materials, building

Qualifications

• B.Tech/BE/Diploma in engineering or construction field.
• Extensive experience in procurement for interior/building projects.
• Strong vendor negotiation and PO administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review BOQ to determine material requirements.
• Source vendors and issue RFQs.
• Collect and compare quotations; negotiate terms.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders after approval.
• Track material delivery and ensure quality per specs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and site team.
• Maintain vendor records and identify alternate suppliers.
• Handle urgent material requirements for projects.

Position: Procurement Executive / Procurement Engineer

Experience: 38 years

Location: Mumbai

Industry: Turnkey Interior Contracting

The person will:

• Check the BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and understand what materials are required.
• Find suitable vendors/suppliers.
• Send RFQs (Request for Quotation) to vendors.
• Collect quotations and compare prices.
• Negotiate rates, payment terms and delivery dates.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after approval.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure materials arrive on time.
• Check whether materials meet the approved brand, sample and specification.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Site Team.
• Handle urgent material requirements from project sites.
• Maintain vendor records and find new/alternative suppliers.
