Job summary

Pradeepit Consulting Services in Bengaluru seeks a procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and purchasing for high-quality, on-time material delivery. The role emphasizes cost optimization, term negotiations, and strong cross-functional collaboration with QA, engineering, and production teams.

You will manage RFQs, SAP-based purchase orders, and supplier records, drive ISO/EHS compliance, and implement Just-In-Time strategies to balance cost and supply.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and safety.
• Execute and manage on-time MRP run for design releases.
• Send RFQs, analyze offers and conduct supplier negotiations for better pricing and terms.
• Create and manage info records and purchase orders in SAP; maintain supplier sourcing lists.
• Oversee timely and accurate order placement, confirmations and receipt in SAP.
• Interact with business partners to resolve production issues and meet delivery timelines.
• Implement lessons learned to prevent recurring manufacturing problems.
• Ensure regular supplier evaluation and process audits; maintain documentation.
• Optimize inventory levels and implement JIT purchasing strategies.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Assembly and Vendors to ensure material quality.
• Maintain ISO/EHS-MS compliance and participate in audits.
• Cross-functional collaboration with lead plant users on development projects.

Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing

• Identify, Evaluate & Select suppliers based on Quality, Cost, Delivery & Safety
• Execute & manage on time MRP Run for the Design Releases
• Send RFQ's, Obtain & Analyze offers & Conduct Supplier negotiations to secure better pricing & optimal terms & conditions

Order Processing

• Create Info records of parts & assemblies i.e. Pricing & validity; Create & Manage Purchase orders in the SAP
• Manage Supplier Sourcing List in SAP
• Oversee Timely & accurate order placement to vendors, updating of confirmation dates in SAP, tracking & receipt of parts & assemblies

Vendor Management

• Frequent visit & Interact with Business Partners to understand & Coach to resolve production intricacies to meet the delivery timeline
• Effective implementation of Lessons learned from previous projects to prevent recurring mistakes in manufacturing Processes
• Ensure Regular Supplier evaluation & Process Audits

Inventory Management

• Optimize inventory levels to balance cost & supply by coordinating with respective cross functional teams to manage material availability
• Implement Just -In -Time purchasing strategies wherever appropriate

Quality Assurance

• Work Closely with Quality team, Engineering, Assembly & Vendors to obtain the required Quality of the Assemblies & parts
• Collaborate with Quality control teams to ensure materials meet the required standards
• Address Quality issues & work with suppliers to implement corrective actions

Cross Functional-Collaboration

• Interact & work closely with the lead plant key users for development & improvement projects
• Participate in cross functional projects & initiatives to drive organizational success

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies & regulatory requirements
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate & up-to-date records of all procurement activities
• Ensure availability of Necessary Documents & Participate in ISO, EHS-MS Audits
