Job summary

Thermosen Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Purchase/Procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of raw materials and components. You will build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and coordinate with production, stores, quality, and accounts to ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electronics procurement, strong knowledge of BOM and inventory management, and hands-on ERP/MS Excel experience.

Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, electronic components, electrical components, and production-related materials.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and maintain reliable vendor and supplier relationships.
• Source materials from domestic and international suppliers based on company requirements.
• Obtain quotations, compare commercial offers, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare, release, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs).
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules and avoid stock shortages.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Engineering, and Accounts departments.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, material quality, and pricing.
• Follow up on pending orders, delayed deliveries, and material shortages.
• Maintain vendor databases, purchase records, quotations, and procurement documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective procurement strategies.
• Ensure proper inventory coordination and maintain optimum stock levels through ERP.
• Handle vendor-related issues, purchase documentation, and supplier development activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma (DME / ECE / EEE) or BE in Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
• Mandatory experience working in an Electronics Manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, raw materials, and industrial procurement.
• Experience in vendor development, supplier negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of BOM, material planning, inventory management, and Purchase Order processing.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet production requirements.
• Candidates with experience in Automotive, EV, Electronic Components, or Industrial Manufacturing will be preferred.
