Job summary

Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions Ltd. is hiring a Purchase Engineer for SUPA Plant in Maharashtra. You will manage procurement activities, source materials and services, and ensure on-time delivery with required quality.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, familiarity with ERP and MS Excel, and strong negotiation and supplier management skills. You will coordinate with Production, Engineering and Finance to optimize costs and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Automobile or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Experience in supplier coordination, commercial negotiation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
• Working knowledge of ERP or purchase management systems and MS Excel.
• Ability to understand technical specifications, drawings and purchase requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase requirements for plant operations, production, maintenance and other functions.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, delivery and service.
• Obtain and compare quotations; negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
• Create and release purchase orders in line with approved requirements and company processes.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or shortages.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Stores, Finance and Maintenance teams to clarify specifications and priorities.
• Support supplier development and alternate sourcing to improve availability and reduce procurement risk.
• Review supplier performance and coordinate corrective actions for quality, delivery or service concerns.

Role Purpose

Manage procurement activities for the SUPA plant, ensuring materials, components, consumables and services are sourced at competitive cost and delivered on time, with the required quality and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase requirements for plant operations, production, maintenance and other functions.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, delivery and service.
• Obtain and compare quotations; negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
• Create and release purchase orders in line with approved requirements and company processes.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or shortages.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Stores, Finance and Maintenance teams to clarify specifications and priorities.

Qualifications and Experience
