Job summary

Aon is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Support Specialist in Bengaluru, India. The role collaborates with onshore writers, production assistants, and content managers to deliver compliant RFP responses.

You will format proposals to Aon branding, populate standard content, and ensure accurate data transfer within the proposal database. Strong English communication is essential to coordinate with global teams and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have previous proposal support or content management experience.
• Familiarity with Insurance and benefits industry terminology is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret RFP questions and locate relevant content in the database.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal responses per SLA with onshore writers and content managers.
• Format proposals to Aon branding and structure for Word/PDF documents.
• Populate RFP responses with common Aon information and statistics.
• Ongoing formatting of proposal documents during the RFP response process.
• Format and populate forms and appendices with generic Aon content (e.g., Fed Tax ID, HQ address).
• Prepare presentations by evaluating text and graphics for clarity and impact.
• Communicate effectively with onshore team members in English.

Role & responsibilities

Incumbent would be responsible for providing support on proposal support in-line with SLA requirements and works closely with onshore writers, production assistants, and content managers.

Preferred candidate profile

• Previous proposal support or content management experience is a must; familiarity and understanding of Insurance & benefits industry/terminology and or consulting industry/terminology is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret proposal questions and RFP documents with the ability to identify content within the database that responds to the intent of the question fully
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate data capture when transferring content in/out of proposals and the database.
• Strong sense of urgency as it pertains to client and client team deadlines.

• Works closely with onshore writers, production assistants, and content managers to support:
• Proposal response template creation working within the RFP support tool to format the original document (word, PDF, etc.) and develop the structure for the response according to Aon branding and formatting
• Aon Statistic Population - populate RFP responses where possible, with a focus on common Aon company information and statistics
• Ongoing formatting formatting of proposal documents during the RFP response process, ad hoc formatting of database content related to content management Prepares presentation by evaluating text and graphics
• Forms and Appendices - Format appendices to facilitate population, and format and populate forms with required generic Aon content (e.g. Fed Tax ID, headquarters address, diversity statements, etc.)

• Extremely strong English communication skills to communicate effectively with onshore team members and to understand and interpret RFP questions and accurate responses
