Job summary

Piaggio is seeking a sales-oriented professional to drive retail volumes for 3/4-wheeler commercial vehicles and two-wheelers in the Kamrup Metropolitan area. You will work with the dealer network to achieve targets, promote promotions, and convert inquiries into sales.

The role involves building customer rapport, planning promotions, monitoring inquiries, and ensuring timely billing and inventory management across the territory.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree.
• PGDM/MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in generating sales for commercial vehicles in the assigned territory.
• Support planning and execution of sales promotions to generate inquiries and achieve targets.
• Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with existing customers and engaging prospects.

Job description

You will work towards supporting and assisting in generation of retail sales business for 3/4-Wheeler commercial vehicle/2W in your assigned areas, ensure achievement of retail volumes and bring in more business to the company through dealer network in the assigned areas.

Role & responsibilities

• Assisting in generating sales for commercial vehicles in specified territory and supporting in primary as well as secondary channel network to achieve retail volume as per the target.
• Supporting in Planning and implementing effective sales promotional activities for generating inquiries to meet set territorial business targets.
• Providing necessary support in developing buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, meeting prospects at community activities, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
• Conducting effective inquiry monitoring in coordination with dealers and their sales staff to track prospect buyers and enhance conversion rates.

• Ensuring necessary assistance in completion of billing process by timely collection of payment from the dealers and effectively coordinating in tracking defaulters.
• Supporting in effective inventory management data and providing analysis for the dealerships assigned
• Documenting channel partners non-adoption of organizational policies or adoption of malpractices and violating company standards and reporting to the Regional Manager.
• Evaluating competitors new products and their BTL activities conducted in the territory by comparing and contrasting competitive models. Presenting the analysis with recommendations and implementing action plan as approved by manager
• Ensuring that workshops and showrooms infrastructure are in compliance with the CI norms as suggested by the manager.
