Sintex Advance Plastics Limited is seeking a Project Operations Support to collaborate with the Project Manager for smooth execution of projects. You will handle RFQs, vendor coordination, and technical evaluations to ensure timely procurement and alignment with specifications.

The role requires 9–12 years in manufacturing operations, strong vendor management, and cross-functional communication. Based in Kalol, Gujarat, on-site with exposure to FMCG and plastics industries.

Qualifications

Min 9–12 years of experience in manufacturing operations
Experience in procurement, RFQ management and vendor evaluation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with cross-functional collaboration
Ability to prepare machine layouts, oversee installation and commissioning activities
Proficient in document management and record-keeping for projects
Wamiliar with FMCG/manufacturing industries and related standards

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager in executing project tasks smoothly and efficiently
Oversee procurement process including RFQs and supplier quotations
Conduct technical evaluations and coordinate with vendors to meet project requirements
Support machine layouts, inspections, trials, installation and commissioning
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and drawings for reference
Visit project sites to monitor progress and resolve operational challenges

Job Purpose/ Summary

Incumbent will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth operations, timely procurement, technical evaluation, and effective communication with vendors and stakeholders.

Job Description

Project Assistance: Work closely with the Project Manager to support overall project execution and operational activities. RFQ Preparation: Prepare comprehensive RFQs (Requests for Quotations. for extrusion machines, downstream equipment, and ancillary systems as per project requirements. Quotation Management: Obtain and manage quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to specifications. Technical Evaluation: Conduct technical comparisons of machines and systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and operational goals. Vendor Identification: Identify and recommend reliable vendors for the supply of various machines and systems. Machine Layout Coordination: Assist the project team in preparing machine layouts by coordinating technical requirements and spatial considerations. Inspection & Trials: Conduct inspections and trials of machines at vendor locations. Prepare detailed inspection reports highlighting findings and recommendations. Installation & Commissioning: Assist the plant team in the installation and commissioning of machines, ensuring proper integration and functionality. Project Site Visits: Visit project sites to review and report on progress and development, addressing any operational challenges. Document Management: Maintain and update project-related drawings and documentation, ensuring accurate records are available for reference.

Responsibility

Utilize strong business and commercial acumen to drive project success leveraging entrepreneurial skills and a global mindset to navigate complex project environments
