Job Description

Material Movement

• Ensure timely issue the material to plant / concern user with online issue slip posting.
• Ensure all material is placed at their respective location and update the location in SAP also.
• Proper record keeping in SAP and reconciliaion of all incoming/Outgoing material on a/c of Job work and escalates any deviations.
• Issue of Debit Notes for Shortfalls/rejections and creating track of the same in coordination with Sourcing/Quality Team.

Loading / Unloading

• Ensure unloading/loading of material as per approved handling procedure & as per vendor invoices.
• Ensure the vehicle loading / unloading within the given time period & out from gate with proper documents.

Inspection and Documentation

• Ensure all inward material is verified with proper identification and inspected by user within the given time frame and prepared the GRN accordingly.
• Ensure all documents sent for further processing within given time frame.

Material Handling

• Ensure validity of calibration status of tools & tackles equipped with material handling equipments to comply with safety standards as per test certificates.
• Ensure the handling of material should be with proper equipment i.e. hand trolley, forklift, hyra as per requirement.
• Ensure zero damage on material during handling by using proper tools & tackles and handling equipment.

SAP Monthly Generation of Store MIS

(Inventory Ageing, Receipts, Rejections)

Periodic Verification of Physical & SAP Stock of material

To Ensure all material stored in the their respective bin location (basis defined SOP/guidelines. and build seamless traceability in SAP and in physical form)

Master Data Management Coordination

• To ensure all request received from user, check properly and send to MDM department for code creation.
• To ensure codes are created be circul[ate] to concern user on give time frame.

Housekeeping

To ensure no scrap & waste material laying in the storage area.

People Development

• Responsible for developing high performance operational team by providing technical training. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of subordinate’s skill.
• Develop a team that is aligned to and continuously lives the Welspun 2.0 values.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure zero variance between SAP records and physical stock maintaining accuracy and reliability in inventory management.
• Manage inventory levels in accordance with Annual Business Plan ABP norms ensuring optimal days of supply.
• Generate and present comprehensive Store Management Information System MIS reports providing insights into inventory status and trends.
• Conduct Inventory Ageing Analysis within defined timelines to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Develop and implement effective storage handling identification and traceability processes for materials.
• Foster a culture of excellence within the team focusing on the development and retention of skilled manpower.
• Utilize strong business and commercial acumen to align store operations with organizational goals.
• Apply a global mindset to navigate and address the complexities of store management in a dynamic environment.
