Job summary

Nibav Lifts in Chennai seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of commercial interior and retail fit-out projects, from planning and procurement through site execution and client handover.

Responsibilities include preparing plans, schedules and budgets, managing BOQs, procurement, vendor management, and coordinating civil, interior and MEP works with designers, consultants and site teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 58 years of experience in commercial interiors, workplace or retail fit-out projects.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple projects end to end.
• Experience in budgeting, BOQ preparation, procurement and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Strong communication, leadership and client-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

• Handle contract administration, change orders and claims
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, snagging and timely handover
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular progress reports
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and allocate site resources effectively
• Identify project risks early and drive solutions to protect cost and timelines

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of commercial interior and retail fit-out projects, from planning and procurement through site execution and client handover, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end execution of commercial office and retail fit-out projects on a design & build model
