Zyeta is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end corporate workplace fit-out projects in Chennai. You will act as the primary client interface, manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety, and coordinate Civil & Interiors, MEP teams, consultants and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will drive project planning, risk mitigation and reporting, ensuring smooth handover and stakeholder satisfaction across large-scale interior fit-outs.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in corporate office fit-outs, commercial interiors or turnkey design-and-build projects.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale interior fit-out projects from award to handover.
• Strong client-facing experience, including client meetings, progress reporting, negotiations, approvals and escalations.
• Good understanding of project planning, BOQs, cost control, contract administration, variations and project profitability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Civil & Interiors, MEP, consultants and contractors.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety objectives are met.
• Act as the primary client interface, leading project reviews, progress updates, approvals, escalations and expectation management.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, transparent reporting and timely resolution of concerns.
• Lead Construction Managers – Civil & Interiors and MEP, site engineers, consultants and vendors to ensure coordinated execution.
• Develop project schedules, milestones and resource plans, monitor progress and implement recovery plans to address delays.
• Manage project budgets, profitability, variations, change orders and contractual commitments.
• Coordinate with design and procurement teams on technical approvals, vendor selection, rate negotiations and material availability.
• Partner with finance on project billing, client certifications, invoicing and collections to maintain cash flow.
• Identify project risks early, resolve site and stakeholder issues, and ensure statutory compliance and safety standards.
• Drive snag closure, commissioning coordination, documentation and smooth client handover.

As Construction Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end delivery of corporate workplace fit-out projects, acting as the primary point of contact for clients from project award to final handover. You will drive project planning, cost control, quality, timelines and client satisfaction while leading Civil & Interiors and MEP construction teams, consultants and vendors. The role requires strong client-facing skills, commercial acumen and the ability to resolve challenges, manage expectations and deliver projects within agreed budgets and timelines.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10–14 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in corporate office fit-outs, commercial interiors or turnkey design-and-build projects.
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale interior fit-out projects from award to handover.
• Strong client-facing experience, including client meetings, progress reporting, negotiations, approvals and escalations.
• Good understanding of project planning, BOQs, cost control, contract administration, variations and project profitability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Civil & Interiors, MEP, consultants and contractors.
• Strong stakeholder management, decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, Excel and project reporting tools.
