Job summary

Symphoni Hr is seeking a Piping & Layout Design Engineer in Vadodara to manage deliverables and develop FEED documents within EPC/PMC projects. You will coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure on-time project execution while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have strong piping design experience, familiarity with modelling, stress analysis, plant layouts and materials specs, and knowledge of applicable Indian and international codes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in piping and layout design engineering.
• Exposure to piping modelling, stress analysis, plant layouts, materials specifications and construction documentation.
• Experience in EPC, EPCM, PMC or owner's engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage and review Piping & Layout Engineering deliverables for project execution.
• Develop Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) documents and coordinate with Engineering Contractors.
• Handle project planning, execution, stakeholder management, and contractor coordination.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support engineering activities related to plant layouts, piping systems, and project implementation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and contractors for successful project completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in Piping & Layout Design Engineering.
• Exposure to Piping Modelling, Piping Stress Analysis, Plant Layouts, Pipe Material Specifications, and Construction Documentation.
• Experience in EPC, EPCM, PMC, or Owner's Engineering Projects.
• Familiarity with Chemical/Fertilizer Plant Projects.
• Knowledge of Industrial Piping Systems and Piping Erection Practices.
• Exposure to International/Indian Codes & Standards, Factory Rules, and PESO Requirements.
• Experience in project budgeting, scheduling, contractor management, and stakeholder coordination.
