Job summary

Lektus Infrastructure is seeking an experienced piping lead to drive feed and detail engineering for industrial plant projects in Pune. You will lead a team of piping engineers and designers, coordinate with multi-disciplinary offices, review client requirements, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Strong knowledge of Plant 3D and international codes is preferred. Role involves detailed design calculations, MTOs, piping material specs, and procurement support, with emphasis on model

Qualifications

• Detailed piping engineering for industrial plants: design calculations, MTOs, piping specs, layouts, procurement prep, and vendor reviews.
• Lead and guide piping team across multi-office projects and ensure on-time deliverables.
• Coordinate multi-discipline activities and review client requirements and ITB.
• Knowledge of international codes and practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Feed and Detail Engineering activities and cost estimates.
• Guide team of piping engineers and designers.

• Perform design calculations, MTOs, and piping material specs.
• Administer Plant 3D model and support multi-disciplinary users.
• Generate reports (Equipment list, Interferences, Line List, Design Parameters).

• Provide technical guidance to designers per project requirements.

Role & responsibilities

• Leading Feed and Detail Engineering activities, Cost Estimate
• Leading and Guiding team consisting of Piping Engineers and Designers
• Coordinating multi-discipline, multi-office project activities
• Review of Client requirements, ITB
• Good Knowledge of 3D Project Execution methods
• Detailed Piping engineering activities for industrial plants covering required design calculations, MTOs, Piping Material Specifications, various types of layouts, procurement activity for piping items covering preparation of enquiry specification, review of quotes and preparation of TR, preparation of order specifications, review of vendor drawings, review of piping content for mechanical packages
• Should have handled Projects & Piping Design on 3D independently with participation in model reviews.
• Knowledge on Stress Analysis shall be an added advantage.
• Piping Engineering activities to carry out Piping design work based on standard company procedure / other procedures; methods outlined.
• Administration of Plant 3D model, customization to suit project requirements, and support to multi-disciplinary end users of the model.
• Extraction of various reports like Equipment list, Interferences, Line List, Design Parameters, and Insulation etc.
• Timely completion of designs, requisitions, and engineering deliverables.
• Technical guidance to Designers to carry out piping design work as per the requirements of the Project.
• Adherence to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems.
• Overview of work progress and work-hour usage for team member.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates with Water/Wastewater related experience will be preferred.
• Knowledge in International Codes and Practices and global engineering standards.
• Good knowledge of MS office tools.
• Collaborative Skills with Clients, Stakeholders, Project Management and Design Teams.
