Job summary

Ravita Engineering Services is seeking an experienced project engineer/manager in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai area to oversee electrical and mechanical installations. The role requires strong planning, coordination with procurement, and hands-on site leadership from design to commissioning.

The candidate will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while managing diverse teams and coordinating with clients and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or MTech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of experience in project management for electrical/mechanical installations.
• Knowledge of electrical panels, wiring, cabling, earthing, transformers and DG installation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans with milestones, budgets, and resources.
• Create schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
• Lead activities from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely materials and equipment.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and safety compliance.
• Review engineering drawings and technical specs for accuracy.
• Provide regular progress reports to the department head.

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of Electrical Panels, Wiring, Cabling, Earthing, Transformer & DG Installation, Fire Pumps, Hydrant system, Plumbing system Installations.
• Skills: Auto Cad, Rivet, MS Projects etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Making clear project plans that include goals, deadlines, budgets, and required resources.
• Creating project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
• Leading project activities like design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning work.
• Managing site workers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quantity details.
• Tracking project costs and ensuring the project stays within the approved budget.
• Coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials and equipment.
• Single point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors throughout the project.
• Ensuring that all safety and quality standards are followed strictly at the worksite.
• Keeping all project documents well-organized, including reports, contracts, and progress records.
• Sharing Daily, weekly & monthly progress reports & plans to Department Head and management.
• Submission of documents to accounts for billing on competition of each milestone.
