Job summary

Raheja Universal is seeking an Assistant Manager - MEP to lead and coordinate all MEP, Fire Fighting, and ELV activities on-site in Worli, Mumbai. You will plan, monitor, and execute MEP works aligned with the project schedule, while liaising with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of MEP project experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in MEP project execution for relevant sectors.
• Experience in contractor management, project planning, testing & commissioning, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP, Fire Fighting, and ELV works at the project site.
• Plan, monitor, and execute MEP activities in line with the project schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Supervise contractors and site teams for timely completion.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve coordination issues.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and handover of MEP systems.
• Track material requirements and procurement coordination.
• Prepare progress reports and attend reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and HSE policies.

• Lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, and ELV works at the project site.
• Plan, monitor, and execute MEP activities in line with the project schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Supervise contractors and site teams to ensure timely completion of work.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover of MEP systems.
• Track material requirements, procurement coordination, and resource utilization.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and attend project review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company HSE policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in MEP project execution for residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Experience in contractor management, project planning, testing & commissioning, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
