Job summary

Shreeji Flowtech Systems is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead planning and execution across packaging machinery projects. You will drive PO validation, lead kickoffs, and maintain schedules with customers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and commissioning.

The role requires 7–10 years in project management within machinery industries, strong Excel and MS Project skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Project Management within primary packaging, liquid filling, or machinery industries.
• Proficiency in Excel and Gantt Chart tools; MS Project is a plus.
• Strong technical understanding of machine manufacturing cycles.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate and accept POs by reviewing terms, GST, scope, installation, commissioning, and delivery timelines.

• Manage MDS and SOA creation per order scope.
• Coordinate pre-installation activities, including URS handover and FAT reports.

Job description

Project Planning & Execution :

• Validate and accept Purchase Orders (PO) by reviewing terms, GST, scope, Installation & Commissioning and delivery timelines.
• Conduct internal and external Project Kick-off meetings; prepare and circulate Minutes of Meetings (MOM).
• Develop and maintain Project Gantt Charts to share with customers and internal teams for progress tracking.
• Manage the "MDS" (Master Data Sheet) and "SOA" (Service Oriented Architecture) creation as per order scope.
• Define internal timelines and ensure follow-up on design, layout approvals, and sample validations.

Customer Communication & Coordination

• Act as the central point of contact for customers regarding design samples, balance payments, layout confirmations, project status till SAT.
• Facilitate customer introductions and ensure formal PO acknowledgment.
• Coordinate pre-installation activities, including handover of Layouts, User Required Specifications (URS) and FAT reports to the customer and service teams.
• Manage payment follow-ups (Balance) as per the agreed PO terms.

Manufacturing and Quality

• Monitor machine progress through regular follow-ups with the Production and Design departments.
• Oversee Internal Inspection (PDI) and ensure the closure of punch points after FAT.
• Lead the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) process and obtain formal machine acceptance from the customer.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores for critical part availability and reconciliation.
• Ensure the supply of documents (Schematics, Manuals and Spare Parts).

Logistics & Commissioning

• Manage the machine handover to Logistics, including providing measurements for packing and freight approvals.
• Oversee the dispatch process, ensuring all documentation (Invoice, Packing List, LR) is shared with the customer.
• Facilitate the transition to the Service department for Installation & Commissioning.
• Follow up on I&C reports and ensure post-installation requirements like Advance Bank Guarantee (ABG) & Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) are met for final payment release.

Continuous Improvement

• Prepare Project Learning reports to document challenges and successes for future process optimization.
• Ensure all project documentation is archived and accessible for service and spare parts support.

Preferred candidate profile

7-10 years of experience in Project Management, specifically within the Primary Packaging, Liquid Filling, or specialized machinery industry.

• Proficiency in Excel, and Gantt Chart tools. Knowledge of MS Project will be an added advantage
