Job summary

ANSCER Robotics in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from PO receipt through installation, commissioning, and handover, coordinating internal teams, customers, vendors, and deployment teams to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has about 3 years in project management in automation, robotics, manufacturing, or similar technical environments, with strong planning, risk management, and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management / project coordination.
• Experience managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk management, and execution.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from PO receipt.
• Review project scope, timelines, deliverables, and customer expectations.
• Conduct project kick-off meetings with relevant internal teams.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, milestones, and execution timelines.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Pre-sales, Solution Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Software / FMS / Controls, Procurement, Production / Assembly, Logistics, Deployment & Service teams, customers, and external vendors.
• Track project progress from PO to manufacturing, FAT, dispatch, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Maintain project trackers and regularly update project status.
• Identify dependencies, delays, and project risks.
• Follow up with responsible teams to ensure timely closure of action items.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT activities and customer demonstrations.
• Ensure project documentation is completed before handover.
• Provide regular project status reports to management.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to join our team and manage projects from Purchase Order (PO) receipt through installation, commissioning, and project handover. The role will be responsible for coordinating internal teams, customers, vendors, and deployment teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and as per customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have around 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in automation, robotics, manufacturing, industrial automation, material handling, or a similar technical environment.

Project Planning & Initiation

• Take ownership of projects from the point of PO receipt.
• Review project scope, PO requirements, timelines, deliverables, and customer expectations.
• Conduct project kick-off meetings with relevant internal teams.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, milestones, and execution timelines.
• Define project responsibilities and coordinate activities across functions.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Sales / Pre-sales, Solution Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Software / FMS / Controls, Procurement, Production / Assembly, Logistics, Deployment & Service teams, customers, and external vendors.
• Ensure all teams are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.

Project Execution

• Track project progress from PO to manufacturing, FAT, dispatch, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Maintain project trackers and regularly update project status.
• Identify dependencies, delays, and project risks.
• Follow up with responsible teams to ensure timely closure of action items.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT activities and customer demonstrations.
• Ensure project documentation is completed before handover.

Customer Coordination

• Act as the primary project coordination point for customers.
• Understand customer requirements and communicate them internally.
• Coordinate site readiness, installation schedules, training, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct regular project status reviews with customers.
• Manage customer expectations and communicate project updates, risks, and changes.

Installation & Deployment Coordination

• Coordinate deployment activities from site preparation through installation and commissioning.
• Ensure site readiness before deployment.
• Coordinate deployment engineers, technicians, and required resources.
• Track installation and commissioning activities against the project plan.
• Ensure issues identified during deployment are assigned and followed through to closure.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and dependencies at an early stage.
• Maintain a project risk and issue tracker.
• Escalate critical issues to management with clear recommendations.
• Coordinate corrective actions and ensure timely resolution.Monitor scope changes and their impact on cost and timelines.

Project Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project plans, trackers, MOMs, action trackers, risk & issue registers, FAT/SAT documentation, installation and commissioning reports, customer acceptance documents, project handover documentation, and project closure reports.
• Provide regular project status reports to management.

Requirements

• Technical understanding of automation systems, robotics, software, electrical and mechanical systems is an added advantage.
