Job summary

Propack Technologies in India is seeking a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech engineer to plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities from order receipt to final delivery. You will prepare production plans, schedules, and execution timelines, and work with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, QA/QC, Service and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in project execution, production planning, manufacturing, or project coordination preferred.
• Good knowledge of production processes and engineering drawings.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Experience in pharmaceutical machinery / process equipment / industrial manufacturing is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities from order receipt to final delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, production plans, and execution timelines.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, QA/QC, Service, and other departments for smooth project execution.
• Track material procurement, availability, and readiness as per project requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing progress against project schedules and identify delays or deviations.
• Follow up with internal departments to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Monitor project timelines, critical activities, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Production and other teams to ensure manufacturing activities are executed as per approved drawings and project requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, planning records, progress reports, and MIS.
• Update project status and relevant information in the ERP system.
• Prepare daily/weekly project progress reports and highlight critical issues to management.
• Identify project bottlenecks, delays, and dependencies and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Support project managers in planning manpower, materials, resources, and production priorities.
• Ensure proper communication and follow-up for changes, revisions, and project requirements.
• Coordinate project readiness for inspection, testing, dispatch, and final delivery.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with defined quality, safety, and delivery requirements.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Maintain effective coordination between planning and production teams to achieve committed delivery schedules.
