Job summary

Emsec is seeking a proactive Project Manager to own high-impact projects from initiation to delivery. The role requires coordinating with diverse technical and non-technical teams to drive value and ensure on-time outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project management experience in defence, aerospace, technology, or manufacturing, with strong communication and leadership skills and proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, and Trello. This full-time position is based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in defence, aerospace, technology, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-team coordination abilities.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with PM tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Trello.
  • Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are an added advantage.

  • Lead day-to-day management of projects from initiation to delivery with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities while keeping projects on track.
  • Translate complex technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Anticipate risks, remove bottlenecks, and propose timely solutions.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with engineers to senior management.
  • Monitor progress using structured tools and provide timely updates and escalations.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality, budget, and compliance standards.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Project Manager who can take ownership of high-impact projects and drive them to successful completion.

The role calls for someone who is quick on their feet, thrives in fast-changing environments, and can confidently coordinate with people from diverse technical and non-technical backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day management of projects from initiation to delivery. Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and government/industry stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Adapt quickly to changing requirements, challenges, and priorities while keeping projects on track.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear action points for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Anticipate risks, remove bottlenecks, and propose creative solutions on short timelines.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication across all levels from engineers to senior management.
  • Monitor progress using structured tools and provide timely updates, reports, and escalations.
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality, budget, and compliance standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in defence, aerospace, technology, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills — proven ability to coordinate across teams with varied skill sets and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deliver results on tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or equivalent).

Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) are an added advantage.
