Job summary

SoftwareOne India is seeking a Cloud Project Manager to lead complex cloud engagements across AWS, Azure, and M365. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful outcomes in a fast-paced project environment.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive governance, manage client relationships, and monitor progress with regular status reports, while mentoring junior members and maintaining healthy chargeability.

Qualifications

• PMP/Prince2 certification or eligibility within first year.
• Proficiency in crafting Project Plans using MS Project/Professional.
• Experience on AWS, Azure or M365 projects (Landing Zone, migrations, Intune etc).
• Strong interpersonal, structured, proactive, and methodical approach.
• Technical certifications such as AWS/Azure/M365 Fundamentals are a plus.
• Experience with project governance tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Planner, Smartsheet).

We are looking for a motivated Cloud Project Manager to join our xDC India team. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing professional services engagements concerning Cloud Services like AWS, Azure, and Digital Workplace (M365). As a Cloud Project Manager, you will play a key role in achieving our projects' objectives by guaranteeing they achieve scope, schedule, achievements, budget, and quality expectations through detailed planning, control, and implementation following SoftwareOne's Project Delivery Framework and established processes.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery by coordinating the Sales-to-Delivery handover and guiding project teams toward successful outcomes.
• Plan, manage, and control projects to ensure alignment with scope, timelines, cost, and quality objectives.
• Drive project governance and execution by developing deliverables, managing financials, and maintaining healthy profit margins.
• Maintain strong client communication by managing delivery relationships, resolving conflicts, and providing regular Project Status Reports.
• Lead and mentor teams by supporting junior members’ development while managing multiple parallel projects with a target of over 75% chargeability.
• Ensure operational excellence by promoting knowledge sharing, leveraging cross-project insights, and proactively managing Change Requests and project variances.
• Drive compliance and organizational alignment by supporting SwoDP project administration, enforcing time/effort tracking and forecasting, and achieving bi-annual performance and development goals.

What we need to see from you

• Experience in core Project Management role and/or holding a PMP/Prince two Practitioner certification (or eligibility to acquire certification within the first year of employment)
• Proficiency in crafting Project Plans using Microsoft Project Professional (MPP)
• Experience working on AWS, Azure or M365 projects, such as Landing Zone build, server migration, database migration, tenant-to-tenant migration, Intune setup, GSuite to M365 migration, etc.
• Solid interpersonal skills, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities. Structured, organized, proactive, well-adapted, and methodical approach.
• Technical certifications preferred, e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, M365 Fundamentals, Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, etc.
• Experience in using tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Planner, Smartsheet, and/or other project governance tools.
