About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud-based projects for a 24*7 support model. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders such as the technical delivery team, customers, vendor teams, and the AWS team to ensure tickets are prioritized, addressed, and communicated effectively. This is a critical role that requires managing support engagements in a 24*7 model, driving continuous automation, and maintaining transparent communication across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the full life cycle of 24*7 cloud-based support projects.
- Manage key customer discussions and meetings from customer premise as required.
- Ensure round-the-clock handover of critical issues and continuous focus on critical issues.
- Lead projects and change requests across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, ensuring alignment with customer goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Triage support tickets by classifying them based on nature and urgency.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for new projects or change requests, and manage changes proactively to scope, resources, or timelines.
- Coordinate efforts between technical delivery teams, partner teams, customers, and third-party vendors.
- Deliver all projects/change requests on time, within scope and budget, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Apply structured execution methodologies, leveraging Agile practices, planning tools, and robust risk and issue management.
- Maintain continuous communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.
- Publish weekly KPIs and metrics with leaders; promptly elevate risks and blockers to leadership when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle, e.g., Master RCA/Anomalies document for recurring issues, User Guide document.
- Manage team conflict, balance roster rotation, and ensure no personal grievances.
- Align with organization policies and compliance to ensure adherence.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams for production instance stabilization and long-term stability plans.
Requirements
Must Have:
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Project Management Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) with at least 2+ years in cloud-based projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field (mandatory).
Good to Have:
- Project management certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals).
- Domain knowledge in the energy sector and experience with energy sector projects.
- Master’s degree.
