Job summary

Tablespace Bangalore is seeking an senior Project Management professional to lead end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of large-scale interior fit-out projects across Bengaluru. You will drive delivery aligned with business objectives, timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.

The role requires strong leadership of cross-functional teams, expertise in budgeting, procurement, contracts, and value engineering, and a track record in enterprise client management and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, BOQ, estimation, procurement, contracts, construction methodologies, and fit-out execution.
• PMI/PMI certification (PMP) would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple large-scale interior fit-out projects across Bengaluru.
• Drive project delivery in line with business objectives, timelines, quality standards, and commercial targets.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and overall portfolio performance.
• Develop and manage project and portfolio budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
• Monitor project financials, revenue, expenditure, margins, and cost variances.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities via value engineering and procurement strategy.
• Act as primary contact for enterprise clients and senior internal stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on progress, financial health, risks, and key decisions.
• Build client relationships and ensure effective resolution of issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, contractors.
• Ensure resource planning, allocation, and utilization across projects.
• Establish SOPs, quality benchmarks, and standardized processes.
• Develop vendor and procurement strategies; review method statements for delivery.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and mitigation plans; ensure compliance with NBC and codes.
• Maintain quality, safety, and brand standards across locations.

Portfolio & Project Management

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients and senior internal stakeholders.

Execution & Operational Leadership

Vendor, Procurement & Risk Management

• Review method statements and ensure efficient execution and delivery.
• Proactively identify project risks, construction bottlenecks, and approval dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure projects comply with NBC, local building codes, fire and life safety requirements, environmental standards, and applicable statutory regulations.
• Maintain consistent quality, safety, and brand standards across all project locations.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, BOQ, estimation, procurement, contracts, construction methodologies, and fit-out execution.
• Experience in commercial interiors, workplace solutions, office fit-outs, or large-scale interior projects is preferred.
• PMP, PMI, or other recognized Project Management certifications will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred candidate profile

A senior project management professional with 815 years of experience in large-scale commercial interior fit-out / workplace projects, preferably handling multiple projects across Bengaluru or similar markets.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong end-to-end project delivery experience, from planning through execution and closure.
• Experience managing large project budgets, cost control, BOQ, procurement, and value engineering.
• Strong enterprise client and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, designers, and engineers.
• Strong understanding of construction, MEP coordination, quality, safety, and statutory compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, identify risks, and drive projects within agreed timeline, budget, and quality parameters.
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Excel/Office.
• PMP/PMI certification would be an added advantage.
