Job summary

Foodies Group Of Companies is seeking a seasoned site supervisor to coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants on major construction projects. You will monitor progress, review schedules in Primavera P6, and prepare regular site reports with photos and metrics.

You will inspect work, verify drawings and quality, manage submissions and testing, and ensure timely handover with complete documentation. Strong coordination and independence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision, PMC, or construction management.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for reviewing schedules, monitoring progress and recovery plans.
• Experience preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site reports with photos and key metrics.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and verify compliance with drawings, specs, quality and safety.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, submittals, ITPs, NCRs, and approvals within delegation.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, NCRs and corrective action follow-up.
• Ability to monitor contractor performance and review progress payment applications.
• Strong coordination to resolve technical queries with contractors, consultants, clients and authorities.
• Experience with snagging, testing, commissioning, handover docs and as-built records.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection requests, material submittals, ITPs and test reports; issue approvals where appropriate.
• Raise and track NCRs, ensure corrective actions and verification.
• Maintain updated site records including drawings, approvals, correspondences and change records.
• Coordinate snagging, testing, commissioning, final inspections and handover documentation.

Role & responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact at site, coordinating with the client, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and agreed schedules.
• Review contractor schedules in Primavera P6, track actual progress against the approved baseline, identify delays, and follow up on recovery plans.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports covering completed activities, manpower, equipment, constraints, risks, and progress photographs.
• Conduct site inspections, witness required tests, and verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection and test plans, and technical submissions; recommend or issue approvals within delegated authority.
• Review inspection requests and material inspection requests, record findings, and follow up on outstanding observations.
• Raise and track non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring corrective actions are completed and verified.
• Coordinate technical queries and RFIs, resolve site issues within authority, and escalated matters requiring client or designer decisions.
• Monitor site safety compliance and report unsafe conditions for immediate corrective action.
• Verify completed work quantities and review contractor progress payment applications and variations for recommendation to the client.
• Conduct site coordination meetings, prepare minutes, and track agreed actions to closure.
• Maintain updated site records, including drawings, approvals, correspondence, inspection reports, and change records.
• Coordinate snagging, testing and commissioning, final inspections, and handover documentation, including as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision, project management consultancy (PMC), or construction management.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for reviewing schedules, monitoring progress, identifying delays, and assessing recovery plans.
• Experience preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site reports, including progress photographs, manpower, equipment, and key issues.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and test reports, and recommending or issuing approvals within delegated authority.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action follow-up.
• Ability to monitor contractor performance, verify completed quantities, and review progress payment applications.
