Job summary

Tachion Electricals & Controls in India is seeking an experienced Project Manager for construction/EPC projects. You will oversee end-to-end execution from mobilisation to commissioning, manage schedules, budgets, and coordination with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidate has 10–15 years in heavy infrastructure/EPC projects, and is willing to work at project sites. MS Project/Primavera and AutoCAD knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in construction / EPC / infrastructure / piping and large equipment installation/ industrial / data center projects.
• Experience handling projects worth 10 Cr and above.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of construction projects from mobilisation to commissioning and handover.
• Prepare, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, and critical paths, and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Control project costs, variations, change orders, and claims.
• Review and certify contractor/vendor RA bills and final bills.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC systems.
• Enforce HSE standards, statutory safety norms, and labour law compliance at site.
• Lead site teams including project engineers, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular progress review meetings and prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports.
• Ensure timely coordination for inspections, testing, approvals, and handover documentation.
