Job summary

TQ Cert Services Telangana in Bengaluru seeks a Civil Engineer to oversee structural execution and formwork for high-rise projects. You will monitor core activities, review drawings and RFIs, and coordinate with design consultants to ensure compliance with GFC standards.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience in high-rise residential or commercial towers, with strong knowledge of RCC drawings, BBS, and basic structural analysis concepts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex RCC/structural drawings.
• Experience with bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing.
• Understanding of basic structural analysis concepts and design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core wall casting, column verticality, slab cycles, and transfer girders as per GFC drawings.
• Handle advanced formwork systems like Aluminium (Mivan) formwork or Jump/Tunnel form systems for high-rise schedules.
• Check cube test reports, concrete slump, reinforcement placement, and lapping lengths to match structural specifications.
• Review drawings and RFIs with design consultants, ensuring flow and settlement guidelines are followed.
• Update schedules using MS Project/Primavera and manage daily deployment of labor, cranes, and concrete pumps.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Execution & Monitoring: Oversee core wall casting, column verticality, slab cycles, and transfer girders as per Good For Construction (GFC) drawings. [1, 2]


• Formwork Management: Handle advanced systems like Aluminium (Mivan) formwork or Jump/Tunnel form systems typical for high-rise speed schedules. [1, 2]


• Quality Control (QC): Check cube test reports, concrete slump, reinforcement placement, and lapping lengths matching structural specifications. [1]


• Drawing & RFI Review: Verify structural details, resolve discrepancies via Request for Information (RFIs) with design consultants, and monitor lateral load/settlement guidelines. [1, 2]


• Progress & Resource Tracking: Update schedules using MS Project/Primavera, managing daily deployment of labor, tower cranes, and concrete pumps. [1]

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
