Job summary

Ics Realty is seeking a Civil Engineer – Team Lead to oversee the execution of high-rise residential construction projects. The role requires leading a team of 5–6 engineers, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to drawings and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in structural and finishing works, planning, contractor management, and project supervision, with 8–12 years in the field and a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of high-rise residential building construction from foundation to handover.
• Oversee work per drawings, specs, and project timelines while monitoring site activities.
• Mentor and supervise 5–6 Site/Junior Engineers and conduct regular site meetings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors.
• Plan weekly/monthly work, coordinate resources, and prevent delays.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and timely defect rectification.
• Manage safety with EHS coordination and promote safe practices.
• Verify measurements, certify bills, and review technical docs.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to management and clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Civil Engineer – Team Lead to oversee the execution of high‑rise residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in structural and finishing works, quality control, planning, contractor management, and team leadership. The role requires leading a team of 5–6 engineers while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Lead the execution of high‑rise residential building construction from foundation to handover.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Monitor daily construction activities and resolve site execution challenges.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 5–6 Site Engineers and Junior Engineers.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide technical guidance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare weekly and monthly work plans aligned with project milestones.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and subcontractors for uninterrupted execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC procedures and company quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and external development works.
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections in coordination with the EHS team.
• Promote safe work practices across the project site.

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Monitor contractor productivity, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
• Verify work measurements and certify contractor bills.
• Resolve contractor-related issues to maintain project momentum.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and material reconciliation.
• Review BOQs, work orders, and technical documents.
• Prepare progress reports and present updates to project management.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders during inspections and project reviews.
• Support snagging, de‑snagging, and final handover activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• 8–12 years of experience in high‑rise residential building construction.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience leading a team of engineers.
