Job summary

Howell is seeking a mid-level Project Manager with a strong focus on ELV systems (fire, security, IT, AV, building automation) to lead projects across India. You will manage end-to-end project execution, conduct training, ensure handover to customers and maintain documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in IBMS project execution, excellent English communication, PMP certification (plus), and a proven track record of delivering multi-site projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electronics/EE/CS or related field.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• 5–8 years of project execution in IBMS/ELV (fire, security, IT, AV, building automation).
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proven track record of project handover and multi-site management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution including planning, scheduling and risk assessment.
• Monitor quality, delivery and cost; ensure timely handover to client.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and client stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, training for site engineers and site visits as required.
• Prepare and present MIS reports and maintain drawings/technical data sheets.

Role & responsibilities

Howell is looking for Mid-level, motivated, Operation-oriented person who has extensive Project Handling, System Commissioning, Site Handover, Fault finding, and project operation handling experience in security, fire &safety, IT, AV and building automation business.

The role is responsible for the management of the projects, spread across Indian Territory. Responsible for system handover and execution with experience in product training and project management.

The person should be result-oriented, with a focus on execution and handling the final handover of the system to customer.

The candidate from ELV (Electronic low voltage) industry is must. The candidate should have proven experience in ELV systems (Fire, security, IT, AV and BMS)

Reporting: The position reports to the Project Head/ AGM Projects

Key responsibilities As Manager Projects

• Overall leadership and execution of the Project and order execution in terms of Quality, Delivery

and value price paid by the customer.

• Must have strong Knowledge of ELV industry and products
• Resource Planning by way of manpower& Material
• Risk assessment
• Making sure that all the aims of the project requirements are met, the project is completed on time
• Making sure the quality standards are met
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure jobs assigned are in schedule
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
• Monitoring and representing the weekly and monthly MIS reports. Pert charts / project reports
• Will be visiting the client / Project sites as and when required.
• Develop full scale project plans
• Impart the training to the site engineer
• Monitor the project assigned to him with respect to the final commission and handover
• Responsible for effectives of the engineering drawings, schematics and other documentation
• Approval of drawings and Technical Data sheets from customer / Consultants / govt departments
• Timely Project handover responsibility
• Regular customer meeting both online and onsite

Desired profile of the candidate:

1. You should be:Graduate (BE/BTech/ in Electronics/ E & C/ Computers, BSC-IT/ BSC-Electronics/Dip./)

2. PMP certification will be plus

3. Should have working experience of5-8years in Project execution and handling in IBMS (security, fire, safety, IT, AV and building automation business)

4.Should have excellent communication skills & Should have good command over the English both written and verbal

5. Proven track record of Project Handover

6. Should be Team Member & Team Builder

7. Multi-site handling capacity
