Job summary

Black Box in Mumbai is seeking a Project Manager (ELV systems) to lead end-to-end ICT infrastructure projects, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top quality. The role requires hands-on ELV knowledge, site verification, and strong communication skills.

The successful candidate will manage scope, plans, risks, and documentation while driving adherence to standards and safety norms across all project phases, from initiation to handover.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ELV (extra-low voltage) infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and documentation.
• Knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, ACS, BMS, PA, and more.
• Ability to read AutoCAD layout drawings and produce red-line drawings.
• Experience with site surveys, BOQ preparation and QA checks.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, deliverables, and objectives in alignment with client and organizational goals.
• Develop detailed project plans covering schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Identify potential risks, constraints, and dependencies; create mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage end-to-end ELV projects from initiation to handover.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance metrics, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage project documentation: charters, schedules, status reports, and sign-offs.
• Act as a single point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings and status updates.
• Ensure proactive communication and effective escalation handling to avoid project delays.
• Estimate, allocate, and manage project resources efficiently.
• Ensure project execution follows defined quality standards, safety norms, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct quality checks and acceptance tests with clients.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and closure reports for audits and learnings.

PROJECT MANAGER (preferred ELV systems)

Location: Mumbai

The Project Lead/Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of ICT infrastructure and solution projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and client expectations. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and customers, while ensuring adherence to organizational and industry standards.

• Good understanding of ELV solutions, structured cabling standards & Active Networking etc
• Knowledge of different ELV systems like CCTV, ACS, BMS, Rodent, Vesda, Intrusion Alarm System, PA, FA, Gate Barrier & Parking Management
• Knowledge in EIA/TIA 568 Cabling Standards
• Able to read AutoCAD layout drawing and verify at site and prepare red-line drawing.
• Conduct Site survey and prepare BOQ and Verify BOQ prepared by others.
• Hands on Experience in Termination of Cat6, Cat6A Modules, Experience in handling different types of Testing Equipment, downloading test results, analyzing reports and preparing documents.
• Conduct Quality Audit of Cable Installation, Termination, dressing and labeling etc.
• Communication Skills Speaking and Email Communication.
• Prefer to have OEM Certifications
