Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Chennai seeks a Project Engineer - ELV/IBMS (Contractual) to drive the execution and delivery of ELV projects. The candidate will work hands-on with IBMS, CCTV systems, and ELV project execution, coordinating on-site activities to ensure timely completion.

You will collaborate with project managers, site teams, vendors and subcontractors, monitor installations, testing and commissioning, and uphold quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in IBMS/ELV project execution.
• Experience with CCTV systems and ELV solutions.
• Understanding of site execution, installation, and commissioning.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of ELV standards and integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute ELV / IBMS projects from installation to commissioning.
• Handle systems including CCTV, Access Control (if applicable), and other ELV services.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.
• Support documentation, BOQs, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and ensure smooth execution.
