Job summary

Sayantrik Engineer India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects to support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering activities across project phases.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of deliverables while complying with industry standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / EPC projects.
• Exposure to FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project coordination and execution during FEED and detailed engineering stages.
• Support multi-disciplinary engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and track engineering deliverables, vendor documents, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
• Participate in project review meetings (P&ID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, Design Reviews).
• Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, and action trackers.
• Assist in preparation of technical documents such as data sheets, specifications, and reports.

The role involves working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables while maintaining compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Requirements

• Assist in project coordination and execution during FEED and detailed engineering stages
• Support multi-disciplinary engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and track engineering deliverables, vendor documents, and technical submissions
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams
• Participate in project review meetings (P&ID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, Design Reviews)
• Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, and action trackers
• Assist in preparation of technical documents such as data sheets, specifications, and reports
• Support tendering activities, vendor evaluation, and technical bid analysis
• Track project progress and highlight risks, delays, and dependencies
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards

Technical Skills

• Understanding of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical engineering systems
• Familiarity with P&ID, GA drawings, and piping isometric drawings
• Experience in reviewing engineering deliverables and vendor documentation
• Knowledge of FEED and detailed engineering workflows
• Awareness of industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, IEC, ISA, OSHA)

Qualification & Experience

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / EPC projects
• Exposure to FEED and detailed engineering phases preferred
• Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination is an advantage
