Job summary

Sayantrik Engineer India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects to support planning, coordination, and execution across FEED and detailed engineering stages.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery and document control.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
• Exposure to FEED and detailed engineering phases is preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support project coordination and engineering execution during FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
• Review and track engineering deliverables, vendor documents, and technical submissions.
• Participate in project review meetings, including P&ID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, and Design Reviews.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, action trackers, and progress reports.
• Assist in preparing technical documents, datasheets, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Support tendering activities, vendor evaluation, and technical bid analysis.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, delays, and dependencies.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable industry codes, standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support timely completion of project deliverables.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical engineering systems.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, GA drawings, and piping isometric drawings.
• Experience reviewing engineering deliverables and vendor documentation.
• Understanding of FEED and detailed engineering workflows.
• Awareness of applicable industry standards and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, IEC, ISA, and OSHA.
• Good project coordination, documentation, and communication skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2 5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
• Exposure to FEED and detailed engineering phases is preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination will be an advantage.
