Job summary

Taal Tech India in Bengaluru invites an experienced Project Engineer to take ownership of plant engineering initiatives. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across process, piping, mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and automation to ensure on-time project delivery.

Ideal candidates have BE/BTech and 5+ years in plant engineering projects (Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Water/Wastewater, Power). EPC/EPCM exposure is preferred, with strong documentation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary plant engineering projects across process, piping, mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, and automation.
• Support project planning, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure quality checks, design reviews, and approval matrices are maintained.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and revisions; manage man-hours and progress forecasts.

Role & responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in plant engineering projects (Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Water/Wastewater, Power, Utilities, or related industries).
• Experience working with EPC/EPCM project environments is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Plant engineering deliverables.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-disciplinary plant engineering projects across process, piping, mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, and automation domains.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and design reviews.
• Support internal quality checks, audits, and design validation processes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, revisions, and approval matrices.
• Track engineering man-hours, progress percentages, and forecast deviations.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards.
• Ownership and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with structured thinking.
