Job summary

A technology solutions company in Pune is seeking a Project Engineer to lead automation projects. The candidate will handle project meetings, design automation systems, and manage execution and commissioning of various control systems. A BE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics is required, along with 3-4 years of relevant experience. Competitive salary offered according to industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in relevant field.
• Ability to understand and design automation systems.
• Knowledge in project execution of Pharma requirements preferred.
• Pharma project exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct kick-off meetings with the sales & marketing team to understand customer’s requirements.
• Design automation systems on assigned projects.
• Execute and commission PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS.
• Select correct P&ID per project.
• Prepare SACDA, PLC programming with software team.
• Complete project execution, commissioning and installation of PLC/SCADA/HMI/DCS systems (Rockwell, Siemens, Allen Bradley).
• Prepare, review and execute FAT/SAT.
• Identify and manage technical project risks and implement countermeasures.

Overview

• Designation: Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Kick off meetings with sales & marketing team to understand customer’s requirements under the guidance of project manager.
• Understand and design automation systems on the assigned projects.
• Preparation of URS, working against designed projects.
• Selection of correct P&ID as per project.
• SACDA preparations, PLC programming along with software development programming team.
• Complete project execution and commissioning & installation of PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, Rockwell PLC/ Siemens PLC, Allen Bradley PLC.
• Preparation, review & execution of FAT/ SAT.
• Identify, understand and manage technical project risks using appropriate tools for risk analysis and set up the required technical counter measures
