Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Project Engineer to manage and oversee end-to-end execution of luxury construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, site execution, quality control, contractor management, project coordination, billing verification, and timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in civil construction, project management, resource planning, and luxury residential construction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Lead and supervise day-to-day project execution activities.

Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules.

Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and interior works.

Develop project execution plans and ensure adherence to timelines.

Coordinate resources, manpower, materials, and equipment for smooth project execution.

Site Management & Supervision

Supervise Site Engineers, Contractors, and Subcontractors.

Ensure efficient workforce deployment and site productivity.

Resolve technical and execution-related issues on-site.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and workmanship standards.

Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline.

Quality Assurance & Control

Maintain and enforce quality standards across all stages of construction.

Conduct inspections and quality audits for ongoing works.

Ensure compliance with approved materials, specifications, and workmanship standards.

Monitor snag rectifications and quality improvements.

Ensure luxury-grade finishing standards are achieved.

Contractor & Vendor Management

Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Monitor contractor performance, productivity, and adherence to schedules.

Verify work measurements and contractor bills.

Support procurement and material planning activities.

Billing, Measurement & Documentation

Check and certify contractor measurements and RA bills.

Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and project documentation.

Track material consumption, wastage, and inventory.

Prepare project status reports for management review.

Ensure all project records and approvals are properly documented.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP Consultants, and Client Representatives.

Conduct regular progress review meetings with stakeholders.

Escalate project risks and challenges proactively.

Ensure effective communication among all project teams.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with company safety policies and legal requirements.

Promote a culture of safe working practices on-site.

Monitor adherence to statutory regulations and construction standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of civil construction and project execution.

Expertise in RCC structures, finishing works, waterproofing, and luxury villa construction.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.

Knowledge of BOQs, rate analysis, quantity estimation, and billing processes.

Excellent planning, scheduling, and project coordination skills.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good knowledge of quality standards and construction safety practices.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.

Educational Qualification

Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) or

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech Civil)

Experience

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in construction project execution.

Prior experience in luxury villas, premium residential projects, bungalows, or high-end developments is preferred.

Experience in managing multiple contractors and site teams will be an added advantage.
