• Supervise daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Execute work according to approved drawings, specs and PM instructions.

• Plan daily site activities and ensure manpower, materials and equipment are available.

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Engineer to supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project timelines.

The candidate should have hands‑on experience in civil construction, contractor coordination, quantity checking, quality control and site reporting. Experience in residential or real estate projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Execute work according to approved drawings, specifications and instructions from the project manager.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, consultants, architects and vendors.
• Plan daily site activities and ensure the required manpower, materials and equipment are available.
• Monitor the quality of construction work and ensure adherence to approved standards.
• Check line, level, dimensions and workmanship for all civil activities.
• Supervise RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing and other construction works.
• Review drawings and identify discrepancies or practical execution issues.
• Maintain proper records of daily progress, labour deployment and material consumption.
• Prepare daily and weekly site-progress reports.
• Verify quantities and measurements of completed work.
• Assist in preparing and checking contractor bills and measurement sheets.
• Monitor material receipt, usage, storage and wastage at the site.
• Ensure that construction activities are completed within the planned timeline.
• Report delays, quality concerns, material shortages and execution challenges to management.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants or project representatives.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure timely rectification of incomplete or defective work.
• Support project handover and final completion activities.

Candidate Requirements

Option 1

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with 3–4 years of relevant site-execution experience.

Option 2

• Non-technical academic qualification with 6–7 years of strong, hands‑on civil construction experience.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of civil construction methods and site‑execution processes.
• Ability to read and understand civil, architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of construction materials, quality standards and measurements.
• Experience in handling contractors, labour teams and site supervisors.
• Basic knowledge of quantity estimation, billing and BOQ‑related work.
• Ability to prepare and maintain site reports and documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at the project site and manage day‑to‑day execution independently.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and email communication.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
