Detailed Job Description

As a Project Circle Head at ZTE India in Bengaluru, you will take full ownership of circle-level project operations, strategic P&L management, resource allocation, and multi-vendor telecom deployments. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass overseeing on-time project delivery, managing project profitability and cost control, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards. You will collaborate proactively with cross-functional engineering squads, regional circle teams, and client executives to resolve operational bottlenecks, mitigate commercial risks, and deliver superior network rollouts. Working in a fast-paced telecommunications infrastructure environment in India, you will drive business growth, operational excellence, and long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct end-to-end project execution, site deployment, and operational delivery within the assigned telecom circle.
• Ensure strict on-time completion and milestone achievement for all wireless and wireline infrastructure rollout projects.
• Manage circle P&L, project profitability, cost control measures, budget allocations, and financial variance analyses.
• Drive high customer satisfaction ratings by aligning project deliverables with operator expectations and SLAs.
• Optimize resource utilization across engineering teams, field technicians, subcontractors, and material warehouses.
• Collaborate proactively with mobile operator leadership, procurement committees, and regional stakeholders in Bengaluru and South India.
• Establish and enforce rigorous quality control checklists, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Manage third-party payroll staffing, vendor contracts, subcontractor invoicing, and supplier performance metrics.
• Identify operational risks, develop proactive mitigation plans, and lead high-stakes executive escalation resolution.
• Prepare comprehensive executive dashboards, financial reports, and project status updates for ZTE India management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / BE) in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 15 to 20 years of professional telecommunications experience with extensive leadership in circle operations and project management.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale telecom project execution, site acquisition, civil works, and RAN/Core deployments.
• Strong expertise in project profitability management, P&L accountability, and cost control strategies.
• Excellent resource utilization, manpower planning, and subcontractor management capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
