Job summary

Nibe Defence is seeking an experienced Program Management Engineer to lead end-to-end Defence and Aerospace programs, driving planning, execution, cross-functional coordination and risk management to deliver on time, within budget and to spec.

Candidates should have 5–10 years’ experience, a B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering, and strong MS Excel/PowerPoint and ERP/SAP skills to support reporting, governance, and customer interface.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in program management for defence/aerospace.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering in a relevant discipline.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with project planning, risk management, and cost control.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end defence and aerospace projects/programs.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Production teams.
• Track project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement mitigations.
• Monitor critical paths, project costs, schedules, and overall program performance.
• Interface with customers, OEMs, defence agencies, and government authorities.
• Manage contractual deliverables and customer expectations.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, management reviews, and presentations.
• Monitor manufacturing progress, material availability, procurement, and vendor performance.
• Support FAT, SAT, field trials, validation, qualification, and customer acceptance activities.
• Maintain project documentation, risk registers, action trackers, and milestone reports.
• Present project health and performance updates to senior management and customers.
