Job summary

Balaji Wafers Pvt.Ltd. is seeking a production operations supervisor to drive KPI monitoring, OEE optimization, daily/weekly production planning, and manpower management on the shop floor.

You will ensure product quality, manage changeovers and downtime, verify logs, and coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores and Safety to maintain GMP/GHP compliance and 5S/6S standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• KPI & Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and achieve targeted output goals.
• OEE Monitoring: Regularly monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and implement actions to optimize machine availability, performance, and quality rates.
• Production Planning & Execution: Execute daily and weekly production plans accurately to meet client and dispatch schedules.
• Manpower Management: Supervise and allocate shop-floor manpower efficiently across shifts to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operations.
• Product Quality Monitoring: Oversee products in-process to ensure strict adherence to defined quality parameters and specifications.
• Changeover, Cleaning & Downtime Monitoring: Manage smooth product line changeovers and cleaning protocols to minimize setup duration. Monitor, log, and reduce un-planned machine downtime.
• Reports & Logbook Verification: Review and verify daily production reports, efficiency logs, and operational data. Ensure accurate and timely entries in all production logbooks and batch records.
• Operation Control & Inter-Departmental Coordination: Maintain operational control over line activities through regular plant rounds. Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores, and Safety departments to ensure seamless plant operations.
• Quality & Compliance Standards (GMP, GHP, 5S & 6S): Enforce strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP). Drive and maintain 5S / 6S methodology for workplace safety, organization, and cleanliness.
• Lean Manufacturing: Utilize Lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste, improve process efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
