Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of Production Manager / leadership experience.
• Experience in Agricultural Implements / Agricultural Machinery manufacturing.
• Preference for hands-on experience with Chaff Cutter Machines or Silage making machinery.
• Strong manpower handling and shop-floor management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and production MIS/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production operations for agricultural implements and machinery.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage the complete production function for agricultural implements manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in agricultural machinery manufacturing, particularly Chaff Cutter Machines, Silage Making Machines, or similar agro implements.

The candidate will be responsible for managing production operations, manpower, maintenance, logistics, quality, and timely delivery while ensuring efficient utilization of resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee end-to-end production operations for agricultural implements and machinery.
• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to achieve targets.
• Lead and manage the complete production team and shop-floor manpower.
• Allocate manpower and resources effectively to ensure optimum productivity.
• Monitor production quality, output, efficiency, and adherence to defined timelines.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Logistics, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and other departments for smooth production operations.
• Ensure machines, tools, equipment, and production facilities are properly maintained and available for uninterrupted operations.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Monitor raw material and component availability in coordination with Stores and Purchase teams.
• Coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure timely movement and dispatch of finished products.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, production, and operational standards on the shop floor.
• Track production MIS, productivity, rejection, downtime, manpower utilization, and other operational metrics.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Handle and resolve day-to-day shop-floor issues and manpower-related challenges.
• Ensure proper discipline, productivity, and performance of the production team.
• Work closely with management to achieve production and business objectives.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of Production Manager / Production leadership experience.
• Mandatory experience in Agricultural Implements / Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing.
• Candidates with experience in Chaff Cutter Machines, Silage Making Machines, or similar agro machinery will be strongly preferred.
• Strong experience in manpower handling and shop-floor management.
• Ability to independently manage production operations and coordinate with multiple functions.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office and production-related reporting/MIS.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, coordination, and team-management skills.
• Willingness to work from Parner, Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra.
