Job summary

Kamla Metals is seeking a Production Manager to oversee brass and copper components manufacturing for HVAC applications. The role focuses on planning, material control, and manpower management to meet customer orders with quality and on-time delivery.

The candidate will coordinate with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to streamline production, ensure safety compliance, and document production activities across the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution: Ensure production activities are carried out as per customer orders, maintaining quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Raw Material Planning: Plan, monitor, and control raw material requirements to avoid shortages or excess inventory. Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely availability.
• Manpower Handling & Documentation: Supervise shopfloor manpower, allocate tasks, maintain discipline, and ensure statutory compliance. Prepare and maintain production records, manpower deployment sheets, and related documentation.
• Process Optimization: Implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce wastage, and enhance productivity.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Coordination: Liaise with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to achieve smooth production flow.
