Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, driving production efficiency, quality and operational excellence. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Pharmacy with relevant production/manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing operations.
• Experience in chemical, cosmetics, personal care, FMCG or allied manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, capacity utilization and plant operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for production planning, tracking and reporting.
• Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production operations and ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Develop and monitor production plans, capacity utilization, productivity, output and inventory.
• Prepare and track production reports and MIS using MS Excel.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials and production capacity.
• I coordinate with Procurement, Raw Material suppliers, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality standards, safety regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce wastage, minimize downtime and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Lead and manage the production team, including manpower planning, task allocation and performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor key production KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure smooth coordination across functions for efficient plant operations.

About the Role

Candidates with 5+ years of hands-on production/manufacturing experience, particularly in Chemical, Cosmetics, Personal Care, FMCG, or allied industries, will be preferred.
