Bizaccen Knnect in India is seeking a Production Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing of cosmetics and personal care products. You will drive production excellence, improve plant efficiency, ensure GMP and regulatory compliance, control costs, and lead a large cross-functional team.

The role requires hands-on leadership in cosmetics/FMCG manufacturing, with a track record of managing multi-line operations, achieving KPIs, and scaling production for new products.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in cosmetics, personal care, Ayurvedic or FMCG.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for our cosmetics and personal care products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving production excellence, improving plant efficiency, ensuring GMP and regulatory compliance, controlling manufacturing costs, and leading large cross-functional teams.

This role requires a strong manufacturing leader with hands-on experience in cosmetics, personal care, Ayurvedic, or FMCG manufacturing and a proven track record of managing large-scale production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across all production lines.
• Drive achievement of monthly and annual production plans.
• Optimize capacity utilization, productivity, yield, OEE, and line efficiency.
• Ensure timely production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Cosmetic Rules, GMP, SOPs, and internal quality systems.
• Lead and support regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
• Ensure timely closure of audit observations and maintain a strong compliance culture.
• Work closely with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure consistent product quality.

Planning, Inventory & Supply Chain

• Coordinate closely with Procurement, Production Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Optimize raw material (RM), packaging material (PM), and finished goods inventory levels.
• Ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for production.
• Improve production planning and resource utilization.

Maintenance & Plant Reliability

• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Improve machine uptime, equipment reliability, and plant availability.
• Coordinate with Engineering/Maintenance teams for breakdown reduction and timely repairs.
• Drive initiatives to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.

Cost Optimization

• Control manufacturing and operational costs without compromising quality.
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and waste reduction.
• Drive annual cost-saving and efficiency improvement projects.
• Optimize manpower, material, energy, and equipment utilization.

Safety & EHS

• Ensure strict compliance with EHS and workplace safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and support incident investigations.
• Drive safety training and awareness programs.
• Build and maintain a safe, disciplined, and compliant shop-floor culture.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, SOP standardization, and Visual Management initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

New Product & Scale-Up

• Support new product scale-up and commercialization in collaboration with R&D, Quality, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Ensure successful transfer of products from development to commercial manufacturing.
• Optimize processes during scale-up to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor a large workforce of approximately 150–300 employees.
