Job summary

KIWI Kisan Window is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead end-to-end production operations in Vikasnagar, Uttarakhand. The role requires independent management to meet quality, quantity, cost and delivery timelines, with emphasis on planning, manpower coordination and process control.

You will oversee production planning, material coordination, process monitoring and quality compliance while ensuring timely targets and safe, compliant factory operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage day-to-day production activities.
• Prepare production schedules based on forecasts, orders and inventory.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
• Monitor processes for optimal utilization of resources.
• Coordinate availability of raw and packing materials with Stores and Procurement.
• Lead end-to-end production from planning to finished goods.
• Monitor output, wastage, yield and productivity.
• Ensure products meet approved specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process checks and approvals.
• Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation.
• Address delays, shortages, breakdowns and issues promptly.
• Plan manpower and shifts per production needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory movements and dispatch readiness.
• Implement and monitor SOPs and process controls.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who will independently manage and oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring products are manufactured as per required quality, quantity, cost and delivery timelines.

The role will be responsible for production planning, manpower and material coordination, process monitoring, quality compliance, inventory coordination and timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage day-to-day production activities.
• Prepare production schedules based on sales forecasts, orders and inventory requirements.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
• Monitor production processes to ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and materials.
• Coordinate availability of raw materials and packing materials with Stores and Procurement teams.
• Manage end-to-end production, from production planning and material issuance to manufacturing, packing and final transfer of finished goods.
• Monitor production output, wastage, yield and productivity.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications, recipes, SOPs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for in-process checks, finished product approvals and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper batch records, production records and related documentation are maintained.
• Monitor production delays, shortages, breakdowns and operational issues and take timely corrective action.
• Ensure proper manpower allocation and shift planning as per production requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce wastage and optimize production costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Procurement, Maintenance and Accounts teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory movement related to raw materials, packing materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Ensure timely completion, packing and dispatch readiness of finished products.
• Implement and monitor production SOPs and process controls.
• Prepare and maintain production-related MIS, reports and performance records.
• Lead and supervise production staff and ensure discipline, productivity and adherence to company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
