Job summary

Unijet Pneumatics is seeking an experienced Production In-Charge to manage and supervise manufacturing operations across Pneumatic Valves, Vacuum Conveyors, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and Machine Shop. You will lead daily production activities, plan manpower, and drive Kaizen and 5S initiatives to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing/production operations.
• Strong experience in Machine Shop, Fabrication & Assembly.
• Knowledge of production planning, manpower management & shop-floor control.
• Experience in process improvement, productivity enhancement & cost reduction.
• Strong leadership, coordination & problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities and achieve production targets.
• Plan manpower and improve shop-floor productivity.
• Coordinate Machine Shop, Fabrication and Assembly operations.
• Ensure timely availability of machine shop and assembly materials.
• Develop and implement Jigs, Fixtures, Gauges and Special Tools.
• Drive Automation and Semi-Automation initiatives.
• Implement Cost Reduction and Cycle Time Reduction projects.
• Improve productivity through Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Reduce rejection, rework, material wastage and production downtime.
• Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Purchase, Quality and Engineering teams.
• Ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of customer orders.
