Job summary

Shreeji Flowtech Systems in Ahmedabad is seeking a Production Planning professional to drive material requirement planning, capacity and production planning for VMC, CNC, fabrication, and assembly, coordinating with Purchase, Stores, Design and Production.

Key tasks include managing BOM releases, project planning, shop floor coordination, and production monitoring to keep projects green on schedule; applicants should have strong PPC knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning in machinery manufacturing or similar.
• Knowledge of BOM, routing, material planning, and assembly processes.
• Strong MS Excel and production MIS reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple machine projects simultaneously.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery commitments.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Sound knowledge of ERP – MRP, PR, PO, Work Order related to PP module.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BOM and determine material requirements.
• Prepare material requirement schedules and coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement.
• Identify long-lead items in advance.
• Prepare capacity and production plans for daily, weekly, and monthly for VMC & CNC Machines, Fabrication, Assembly.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Design and Production for material availability.
• Ensure project status is visible for each project.
• Coordinate with Design/Engineering for timely BOM and drawings releases.
• Coordinate with Production Managers/Supervisors for plan execution and clarity on quantities, dates, and priorities.
• Monitor production status across Order BOM Purchase Material Machining Fabrication Assembly Electrical Trial FAT Dispatch.
• Maintain on-time delivery and produce daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.

Role & responsibilities

MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING (MRP)

• Analyze BOM and determine material requirements.
• Prepare material requirement schedules based on production priorities And Coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement and ensure material reaches Stores before planned production dates.
• Identify long-lead items in advance

CAPACITY AND PRODUCTION PLANNING

• Prepare capacity and production plans for daily, weekly & monthly for VMC & CNC Machines, Fabrication, Assembly.

Testing and Dispatch

Identify capacity constraints before committing production dates. Compare required production hours vs available capacity.

MATERIAL & PROJECT PLANNING

• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Design and Production for material availability.
• Projectwise project production plan & PPC shall ensure that every project has a clearly visible status at any point in time.

BOM & DESIGN RELEASE CONTROL

• Coordinate with Design/Engineering for timely release of BOM, Assembly drawings, Part Drawings, Pneumatic & Electric drawings.

SHOP FLOOR COORDINATION

• Coordinate with Production Managers/Supervisors for execution of the plan & Ensure production personnel understand: What to manufacture, Required Qty, Required Date, & Priority

PRODUCTION MONITORING SYSTEM & COORDINATION

Monitor each machine/project from: Order Design BOM Purchase Material Machining Fabrication Assembly Electrical Trial FAT Dispatch

With Project status as Green - On Schedule, Yellow - At Risk, Red - Delayed Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, Assembly, Electrical/Automation and Dispatch.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• continuously improve Machine utilization, Manpower utilization, Production hours, Throughput. Production lead time, WIP, Waiting time, Material availability, Assembly productivity.

• ONTIME DELIVERY Ensure machines are completed as per committed delivery timelines. MIS Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production MIS reports. Track production, shortages, delivery status and pending activities
