Job summary

Anand Group India is seeking a capable Production Lead to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations at our Pune plant. You will drive daily and long-term targets, ensure safety and quality, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across functions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading end-to-end production operations.
• Experience implementing Lean, TPM, Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO) and customer requirements.
• Ability to drive productivity, reduce waste, and optimize KPIs.
• Demonstrated leadership in safety, cost, delivery and people development.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall production operations to achieve daily, monthly, and annual manufacturing targets.
• Develop and implement production plans in alignment with customer demand and business requirements.
• Drive improvements in productivity, capacity utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and EHS requirements across the plant.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, PPM, Rejection, Scrap, OTIF, and Productivity.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure achievement of quality standards and compliance with IATF 16949, ISO systems, and customer-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with PPC, Maintenance, Quality, SCM, and HR to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives through reduction in waste, cycle time, energy consumption, and manpower efficiency.
• Review production performance through daily management systems and implement corrective actions for gaps.
• Lead new product launches and production readiness activities.
• Develop a high-performance culture through workforce engagement, training, skill development, and succession planning.
• Ensure machine availability by coordinating preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production losses and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource planning, and capital expenditure proposals.
