Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in production management, preferably automotive/refurbishment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and production efficiency.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in production.

Position Overview:

The Production Head for the Refurbishment Unit will be responsible for leading and managing the entire production process, ensuring the efficient refurbishment of pre-owned two-wheelers in accordance with quality standards and timelines. This role requires a hands on leader with a strong background in production management, quality control, and team leadership.

1. Production Planning:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet refurbishment targets.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of resources.

2. Quality Control:

• Establish and enforce quality control standards for the refurbishment process.
• Implement rigorous inspection processes to ensure the highest quality of refurbished products.

3. Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians, mechanics, and support staff.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the production team.

4. Operational Efficiency:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to optimize production processes.

5. Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory levels of spare parts and materials required for refurbishment.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of the required components.

6. Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the refurbishment unit.

7. Training and Development:
